Wedding Makeup
Your wedding day is likely to be the most photographed day of your life.
So while seating arrangements and catering might seem like the most important things to consider, bridal beauty should be high on the list too.
Just like the less glamorous aspects of a wedding, your makeup requires a certain level of organisation, and the earlier you start to think about it, the less stressful it will be on the day. Makeup is a magical thing but it can only do so much. Therefore, you’re going to need to put in some work in on the run up to the big day to make sure your skin is looking at its very best. You’ve probably heard this over and over again but it really does works...
"Drink two litres of water a day for at least two weeks before your wedding and you will notice a vast improvement. Skin will glow from within and you will also see a big difference to the appearance of fine lines and pores."
Before you even start to think about makeup, you need to get a good skincare regime in place. Please see my Skincare page for lots of tips and advice that will help you on your way.
It can be tempting to play it safe with neutral colours of rosy pinks and dusky browns on your wedding day, but a little more colour and depth shouldn't scare you as it can add a little more colour into their bridal look. All my makeup is tailored to your request, so if you want to bring photos along to a trial or just enquire about me doing a certain look for you, please just ask.
You can lose so much of the makeup on your Wedding Photographs so as much as you want in some cases to have “really natural makeup”, the camera never captures makeup and colour in quite as much vibrancy as is visible in real life.
As a makeup artist and with lots of experience, i know what level of makeup is required to look good on the camera, its not about applying heavy makeup which is a total dislike for most people, its about using the correct products, knowing how to apply them well to achieve that polished look you have been dreaming of for your Wedding Day.
If you are undecided about your Wedding Makeup, its very important to have a consultation before you book. I can speak to you on the phone or we can facetime if you would like a chat about your makeup.
