Wedding Makeup
Yes i travel to where you are getting ready on the morning of your Wedding whether that be the Venue or a home address?
Yes i charge from my studio address post code (LN69GN) to your chosen address, the cost is 0.60p/mile.
Lashes (cluster or strip) and a top up lipstick are included with all makeup services.
I can do up to 4-5 people but should you have more than that, i can always bring an additional Makeup Artist with me to cover the number of people who require makeup.
Any concerns regarding your makeup and what kind of look would suit you can be discussed at the wedding makeup trial. I will ask lots of questions and show you different looks that i think would suit. I take the trial at a slow pace and show you your makeup as we go, so you don't need to worry about waiting to see the finished look. I do also ask your to bring a picture on your phone of any makeup that you have seen whether that be someone i have done previously or a picture from the internet, this will give me an idea of the level of makeup you are looking for and also the colours you are interested in.
Hydrate well drinking plenty of water, try to get into a good skin routine of cleansing, toning and moisturising. In addition to that try to exfoliate gently twice a week in the weeks leading up to the trial and your wedding day, this all helps for a smooth canvas for your makeup to look beautiful.
Any Skincare advice and purchasing of skincare products, i do offer consultations that will help you determine any concerns or issues you might have and recommend the appropriate products to help address them. Please visit my Skincare page for more information or contact me by the "Contact page".
Lashes (strip or clusters) are included in all my makeup prices. You can choose from very natural ones right up to a full longer lash.
If you intend having your own lash extentions on before your trial and wedding day, i would advise always having a clear mascara specifically for lash extentions to tidy away any pigment from the eyeshadow pigment that may drop down on them during the makeup application. I do try to be very careful around lash extentions and minimise any disruption to them. With some clients with the extentions, i may only use a cream eyeshadow.
If you are intending on having a spray tan for your Wedding, also have one for your trial as a tan can make your makeup look different and you do want to see the same result on the trial as you do on your Wedding Day. Also only have the tan sprayed up to the middle of the neck and not on the face. if the spray tan is applied to the face, it can block any open pores plus it can make the foundation when applied, appear very honey coloured. I can match the foundation to your spray tan colour which will give you a much better natural look.
The only product you need would be yo lipstick to touch
The only touch up you will need to do on your Wedding Day, would be your lipstick which i will give you and all the others in your bridal party that are havving thri makeup applied by me.
All i would advise is that if you suffer with oily skin and you have found previously that your complexion can get a bit shiny, then i would advise keeping a translucent/banana coloured pressed powder and brush with you to light brush over those shiny areas should they appear. I do apply some barriers that help with oily control but unfortunately some clients can get hot and the oil can start reappearing.
For advice on addressing oily skin and trying to reduce the shine on your skin before your wedding day, please ask me about the skincare that can help you with that.

Colour Analysis with Mini Makeover
The Price for Colour Analysis can be found by clicking on "Prices" on my home page.
A colour analysis consultation is a service where as a Trained Colour Consultant, i will help you determine which colours best complement your natural features, such as your skin tone, hair color, and eye color. The goal is to help you discover your most flattering colours for clothing, makeup, and accessories. The makeover at the end of the session will help you make correct choices of makeup to compliment your clothes and accessories.
The Colour Analysis Consultation and mini makeover takes approximately 1.5 hour.
During a Colour Analysis Consultation, i will typically use colour drapes in various shades to hold near your face. I will observe how different colours enhance or detract from your natural features and assess which undertones and hues best complement your skin tone. Based on the findings, I will provide my recommendation on your ideal colour palette. I finish off with a mini makeover to help advise on your future makeup choices.
Yes it can but that's not something i provide at the moment.
Yes, after the consultation, i will provide you with your Season Colour Swatch Booklet. This is a handy sized booklet of colours of material in your Season that fits nicely into your handbag for when you go Clothes shopping. You will also receive a "Tips" card that will guide you with some additional advice for wearing your clothes, makeup and accessories.
Colour analysis results can be long-lasting, as your natural features and undertones don't change.
However, it can be beneficial to revisit a Colour Analysis consultation every few years to account for any changes in your hair color, aging skin, or personal style preferences.
Yes, a Colour Analysis consultation help you make more informed purchasing decisions by avoiding Colours that don't flatter you. By knowing your most flattering colours, you can build a coordinated wardrobe, make confident choices when shopping, and reduce the likelihood of impulse purchases that don't suit you.
I recommend to arrive for a Colour Analysis consultation, free of makeup, very little jewellery and please wear a plain white or neutral-colored top. I do give you a white cape anyway just so there are no bold colours on show. This will allow me to focus solely on evaluating your natural colouring without any external influences.
Skin Care
For prices please visit "Temple Spa Skincare" tab on my homepage in the top right corner.
A skincare routine is important for maintaining healthy and radiant skin. It helps cleanse, moisturise, protect, and nourish the skin, preventing common issues like acne, dryness, and premature aging. A consistent skincare routine can also improve the appearance of the skin and promote overall skin health.
First it is essential to determine your skin type (dry, oily, combination, sensitive) before choosing the skincare products. I can assess your skin and provide you with recommendations from the Temple Spa range tailored to your specific needs. I can help you select products suitable for your skin type and address any specific concerns you may have.
Yes i certainly do, please click on the Skin Care tab at the top right hand side of my homepage and click on "Contact tab" to enquire or to book a consultation.
A basic skincare routine typically includes cleansing, toning, moisturising, and applying sunscreen. Cleansing removes dirt, oil, and impurities, toning helps balance the skin's pH, moisturizing hydrates and nourishes the skin, and sunscreen protects against harmful UV rays.
The frequency of exfoliation depends on your skin type and tolerance. Typically, it is recommended to exfoliate 1-3 times a week. However, sensitive skin may require gentler exfoliation and less frequent use of exfoliating products.
The timeframe for noticing results can vary depending on factors such as skin type, specific concerns, and the products used.
With Temple Spa products, you will instantly notice a difference in the texture of your skin. But generally, with some skin care products it may take a couple of weeks to see noticeable improvements to your skin. Consistency and patience are key when establishing a skincare routine.
Yes, a targeted skincare routine can help address specific skin concerns. For example, ingredients like salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide can be effective in treating acne, while products containing retinol or hyaluronic acid can help reduce signs of aging. I can provide guidance on the best approach for your specific concerns.
It is crucial to remove makeup before bed to allow the skin to breathe and regenerate overnight. Sleeping with makeup on can clog pores, leading to breakouts, dullness, and other skin issues. A gentle cleanser or makeup remover should be used to thoroughly remove all traces of makeup followed by toning and finishing with a moisturising night cream.
Yes, moisturising is essential even if you have oily skin. Selecting a moisturiser specifically formulated for oily skin can help keep the skin hydrated without leaving a greasy residue. Skipping moisturiser can actually make oily skin produce more oil in an attempt to compensate for dehydration.
Lilash
Lilash is a specialised eyelash product designed to nourish and enhance the growth of eyelashes. It has been physician formulated, both Paraben and sulphate free that promotes eyelash health and stimulate lash growth. And has never been tested animals.
Lilash purified serum works by delivering essential nutrients to the lash follicles, promoting healthier and stronger lashes. The active ingredients in the serum help to extend the growth phase of the lashes, resulting in longer, fuller, and thicker lashes.
Results can vary among individuals, but most people will start to see noticeable improvements in their lashes with 3-4 weeks. Using Lilash consistently for approximately 12 weeks (3 month tube) will see your new lashes fuller and longer.
Lilash eyelash purified serum is safe to use and especially for Contact Lens users. However, it's important to carefully follow the instructions especially if you are prone to sensitive eyes or have any allergies. Please follow the instructions provided as Lilash is very concentrated and using too much product, may result in your eyes becoming a little sensitive. Should this happen, please use every other night until the sensitivity goes. Should you have any concerns, please contact me.
Some eyelash purified serums can also be used on the eyebrows to promote eyebrow hair growth and thickness. However, The Lilash company does sell a product called Librow that is specifically developed for Eyebrows.
Yes, you can wear mascara or makeup after applying an eyelash purified serum, once the serum has dried completely. However, i do advise to use Lilash at night once you have removed your makeup as it can then doe its magic whilst you are sleeping. Its important to be gentle when removing makeup, to avoid rubbing or tugging on the lashes, as this can cause lash breakage.
